Acts 26 is Paul’s defense before Agrippa- He is arguing for his life! And yet, Paul still takes the opportunity to talk about the authority of Christ, and the command to all of us to be witnesses of the resurrection. 20 centuries later and we still draw from this as an example on how to witness to those who are lost.

God Raises the Dead
God raises the dead; this is the gospel in concentrated form. This message can provoke hope in some knowing that this life isn’t all that there is, but it can provoke terror in others as well. Hope caused Paul to give up his own life for the sake of the Gospel, and it was terror that caused so much uproar in Jerusalem, it is the reason Paul stood on trial before Festus and Agrippa in Acts 26.
Three Tenses
Acts 24:25 is a prepackaged sermon. Paul’s address to Felix on Righteousness, Self-control, and a coming judgment, lays out for us the three tenses of salvation- a past, a present, and a future work of Christ. (The introduction to this sermon was lost due to technical issues).

This will happen to us
There are some times in the life of a Christian where it is necessary for Christ to heal our wounds. The story that Luke records in Acts 23:1-11 teaches us that, in Christ, there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Telling The Story, Your Story
We are often tempted to think that evangelism must be an elaborate production, but what we learn from Acts 22 is that it is truly simplistic; it is simply talking about Jesus.
Preserving Unity
Paul’s priority was preserving unity among the body of believers. Acts 21:17-26 reminds us how important it is to clothe ourselves with humility for the sake of the body of Christ.
Watchful
God’s design and desire for the church (those for whom Christ died) is their preservation. One of the weapons in His arsenal then is the Overseer. This farewell to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20 gives us a great look into what the Overseer should do and be.
The Value of My Life
“What will you do with your life?” It’s a question I have asked, and been asked, since early on in life. The call of the Christian is to lay it down in service of Christ. Acts 20: 17-38 shows us Paul, eager to make it to Jerusalem, stopping along the way to meet with elders of the church at Ephesus to say a few parting words. Those words are essentially Paul’s answer to that question.
Extraordinary
Our story in Acts 19:11-20 starts out with some extraordinary miracles… those acts of God lead us to thinking about living extraordinary lives in response to God’s grace. This text is a call to greater intimacy with Jesus.
