I recognize that there are a number of people who have been hurt by the church, some have an institutional view of the church (solely a street address), but we have to get past this. The early church community was rooted in Christ, and sought Him out in everything. Acts 2:42-47

What Does This Mean?
The church has been wrestling with understanding Pentecost since the Holy Spirit was poured out into Christ’s church. In this message we take a look at what Pentecost tells us about God, as well as His Church. (Acts 2:1-13)
Replacing Judas
At first glance Acts 1:12-26 may read like a brief history of the early church, but in recording their history, Luke shows us what the early church was immediately focused on- the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. 20 centuries later, we need to be asking if this is our focus as well.
Christmas Morning Worship Service
Join us for worship on Christmas morning at 10 AM. Every Sunday morning we meet together to worship Jesus by singing together, praying together, giving together, listening to God’s word together, and in observing communion together, and what better day to do this but Christmas morning. Our only change to this Sunday morning will be
To Us
I have heard Isaiah 9:6 too many times to recount. This message is an attempt to see this from a new perspective, what does it mean to hear “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given?”
A Light in the Darkness
Our theme for 2016 is to know Jesus more through His word; part of that includes seeing that the Bible is completely a book about Jesus. As we prepare for Christmas we turn to Isaiah 9 to see Jesus as the promise foretold- A light in the darkness. (Photos used in the original message are included)
The Bread of Life
Jesus was able to multiply 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish to feed 5,000, but it points to a question we must ask ourselves, Is it at all possible that we want God for something He provides rather than the something that He is? This miracle from Christ teaches us that something is missing, and we will always be hungry until that something is found.
Dear Pergamum
Be holy as I am holy- that’s what God tells His people. But what if the church becomes infected by the culture around them? That’s what we have the letter to Pergamum for… here is a church that was in a culture much like ours and they responded like we sometimes do- by getting comfortable in a world that isn’t our home. We look at Revelation 2:12-17 to hear what Christ has to say to them and to us as well.
Dear Ephesus
This letter was written to a church on the other side of the world, that existed almost 2,000 years ago. But while we might look for how this has nothing to do with us, we find that it still speaks today. In fact, the message to the church in Ephesus- continue in faith, hope, and love- is a message we still need to hear.
The Sudden Return
Matthew 24 is a favorite go-to text for a discussion on the end times. Unfortunately, a number of people have mangled what Jesus has said on the subject. We look into this text to listen and learn what Jesus said about how no one knows when He will return, and when He does, it will be sudden… so be ready!
