Suffering, hardship, trouble, whatever you want to call it, is a guarantee in this fallen world- even more so for the Christian. While the question we often ask is “Why?” there is a glimpse of a different question in 2 Corinthians 1:3-7- How? How does God use sufferings to shape and form us?

The second letter in the Bible to the Corinthian church begins with a mention of the will of God. It serves as a reminder to us that the church is not a fabrication of men- this is something that God has established for His purposes.
